    This B&B is awesome. From the start, Davy was welcoming and accommodating. I arrived in Edinburgh early and went to the B&B to drop my bags off. I arrived after breakfast was served but Davy kindly made me an omelet, toast, and tea. Then he showed me the room that was intended to be mine, talking me through the amenities. The bed was clean and super comfortable, - I liked everything from the beginning as I was met at the door with a handshake and a nice hello. Mr. Lapping is a fine cook so there's no need to go anywhere for breakfast. He answered my thousand questions about the area with patience and great knowledge. The guest house is located in a somewhat quieter part of Edinburgh that I think is a perfect location.     Beautifuly decorated and very comfortable place to stay. Dean is a wonderful host - we felt like visiting an old friend. Good location as Edinburgh's Grouse House is situated in walking distance to all the attractions but far enough from them to easily find free parking.     A very warm welcome from the hosts. A lovely hotel and rooms clean and functional. Very close to the City Centre either by walking or taking one of several buses from the nearby bus stop. Saigon Saigon Restaurant was very good as was - The staff was super friendly and service was great, food looked and tasted just great for the price u pay, shower head was broken in our room on arrival, upon telling it was fixed by the time we got back. It was very clean, and the house is 150 years old and has a real Victorian feel to it, the ceiling is just wonderful. The info we got is some of the best i've seen and gotten in a B&B its complete and one piece of paper has everything you need.

    We absolutely loved Jude, who was very friendly and helpful in every single way. Beautiful eating area, lovely big Scottish breakfast, everything was in a very relaxed way, there was nothing that we couldn't ask Jude about or to help with.     The hosts were extremely accommodating, welcoming and friendly.     My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and we didn't want to leave! From the time we arrived we were welcomed like family and we received excellent advice about things to do and see in Edinburgh.
