Good location as Edinburgh's Grouse House is situated in walking distance to all the attractions but far enough from them to easily find free parking.   A very warm welcome from the hosts. A lovely hotel and rooms clean and functional. Very close to the City Centre either by walking or taking one of several buses from the nearby bus stop. Lots to see in the City with plenty of historic buildings. Plenty of bars and a good choice of eating places. Saigon Saigon Restaurant was very good as was - The staff was super friendly and service was great, food looked and tasted just great for the price u pay, shower head was broken in our room on arrival, upon telling it was fixed by the time we got back. It was very clean, and the house is 150 years old and has a real Victorian feel to it, the ceiling is just wonderful. The info we got is some of the best i've seen and gotten in a B&B its complete and one piece of paper has everything you need.

Beautiful eating area, lovely big Scottish breakfast, everything was in a very relaxed way, there was nothing that we couldn't ask Jude about or to help with.   My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and we didn't want to leave! From the time we arrived we were welcomed like family and we received excellent advice about things to do and see in Edinburgh. The room we stayed in was spacous, clean, nicely decorated and the bathroom was new with pretty tiles. The breakfasts are fantastic!
