    We are a Spanish people living in Liverpool and we spent the weekend in this beautiful Guest House to visit Edinburgh. We went by car, so the free parking 24 hours was perfect for us( Its is situated right at the hotel), The most famous Edinburgh's points are in walking distance, no need for a car. Very nice staff, they told us what to do and see ... what people say » in Edinburgh. You can enjoy some live Scottish music at the hotel. The breakfast options were a great variety and super delicious. Lovely typical Scot - the breakfasts were large with lots of toasts the bedroom was large the beds very comfy the en suite was large the location was very central and on a bus route we were given a map when we arrived with the attractions and to see we also had a night of Scottish songs and guitar from allan the owner who also told the Scottish history through pictures on a big screen which was interesting and easy listening music

    I'm not a very demanding traveller, all I need is a comfy bed, good shower and a proper breakfast - all was there for the reasonable price. The location was perfect for me - I was looking for a place closer to my daughter who is renting the room. The bus stops right near the hotel, easy to reach the city centre.     A lovely apartment (Haddington Place), which despite being on a very busy corner is quiet (esp. in the bedrooms) with loads of light. The lady who checked us in (Fiona?) was very pleasant and helpful - good restaurant and shopping suggestions, and handled the fact that the en-suite bathroom was unavailable due to a leak they couldn't find by provi... what people say » ding a good discount. Excellent location for everything (bus stops are about two blocks up, so no loitering near-by). Linens provided were very nice. - There's nothing to complain about this beautiful modern, spacious apartment. We travelled with our 25 yr old daughter. Location was excellent. Nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's about a 20 minute walk to Princes Street. We did not mind. There are buses going that way every 10 mins. Apartment had a nice homely feel with a lovely private garden which we enjoyed. Much better than living in an hotel room. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

    This was a fantastically positioned apartment, right in the middle of eveything, although the street was quiet at night which meant that sleeping was not a problem. The apartment was spacious, very comfortable, infact my children want to move here! Very close to all the main areas and sights, with easy access to the main rail station. Edinburgh was a really freindly and safe place to visit and we want to stay here aga - The Owners of the appartment are extremely pleasant, helpful and responsive........nothing is to much trouble and the communication was excellent. The appartment is fantastic, with a large living space, large comfortable bedrooms and a well equiped kitchen. The location is fantastic,nothing is more than a 10 min walk away, at most. Highly recommended and great value for money - well will return. Thank you!

    We stayed at Simpson Loan two bedroom apartment! The apartment was fantastic! We loved it so much that we booked with vip apartments for our next stay again! Close to main bus routes and train station - car can be left at park and ride for free, then a cheap 30 minute ... what people say » bus ride gets you very close to the hotel. - I stayed for one night at the Edinburgh Townhouse, and the single room with ensuite was very comfortable. The Townhouse is about a 20 minute walk from Edinburgh, Waverley Rail Station, and situated on castle Street, just off Princes Street. I enjoyed a tasty, continental Breakfast in the morning.

    The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was friendly. Very well priced and well worth it. This was a great location for us as we were visiting friends in Bonnyrigg, so only about a 1 mile away. Plenty of parking for those with a vehicle. Tea and instant coffee in the room was nice - no phones in the room. Although away from all the action in Edinburgh, it was easy enough to catch a bus to take in all t - IT was very clean and quiet, the front desk staff were very nice and very helpful to us regarding getting in to sight see in Edinburgh. They suggested that we take the bus due to parking, but we didn't and it was ok. We found parking without a problem. We would definitely recommend it if you are not interested in paying high rates in the actual city but want a nice, clean hotel and have a car to get around.

    I am from Edinburgh so am familier with the area and new that it was on the outer limits of the city centre. But I walked from there into town on Sunday morning pulling a suitcase and it wasn't far atall. Even with sore feet from the night before! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The wiifii access is quite fast and the access code is in a drawer. Wasn't told - This is a charming small hotel, easy walking distance to City Centre. It has a comfortable little bar,reasonably priced, didn't sample the bar food but if the breakfast is anything to go by I'm sure it'll be excellent, as was the breakfast -freshly cooked to order, as much tea/coffee and toast as you want. The room was spotless, freshly decorated and beds comfortable,the bathroom was spotless too - good shower.Parking for a few cars on site. I will definitely use this hotel again.

    This B&B is awesome. From the start, Davy was welcoming and accommodating. I arrived in Edinburgh early and went to the B&B to drop my bags off. I arrived after breakfast was served but Davy kindly made me an omelet, toast, and tea. Then he showed me the room that was intended to be mine, talking me through the amenities. The bed was clean and super comfortable, - I liked everything from the beginning as I was met at the door with a handshake and a nice hello.
