What people say
The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was friendly. Very well priced and well worth it. This was a great location for us as we were visiting friends in Bonnyrigg, so only about a 1 mile away. Plenty of parking for those with a vehicle. Tea and instant coffee in the room was nice - no phones in the room. Took advantage of the breakfasts (and one dinner) at the restaurant on site - Table Table. Although away from all the action in Edinburgh, it was easy enough to catch a bus to take in all t. all reviews »
IT was very clean and quiet, the front desk staff were very nice and very helpful to us regarding getting in to sight see in Edinburgh. They suggested that we take the bus due to parking, but we didn't and it was ok. We found parking without a problem. We would definitely recommend it if you are not interested in paying high rates in the actual city but want a nice, clean hotel and have a car to get around.
We were extremely happy with our stay. In particular, the room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Also, the staff were very friendly. In particular, Rachael on reception who assisted us twice with directions! She was very patient and courteous. We would certainly stay again.
We liked the friendly and helpful reception staff. Our room was warm and comfortable. The breakfast was very satisfying with a good choice. The location, close to the Edinburgh Ring Road and Dalkeith was convenient.
Usual good standard one expects from Premier Inn.Friendly, helpful and

Good value comfortable room, very clean and well maintained. Kettle/ tea & coffee, big TV. Receptionists helpfull regarding bus to city centre. Easy route by car to Borders hills.
The staff were excellent at this site, allowing me and my husband to return after checkout to get changed for a 70th Birthday celebration (the reason for our stay in the first place).
Great value hotel, new, fresh, friendly staff!
Lovely restaurant and breakfast, near a big supermarket.
Quiet rooms and good comfy extra beds for our two 13 year olds!.
Friendly and helpful staff, very clean room and public areas, comfortable bed, choice of pillows, decent food even for vegetarians, good price, ample car parking.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are good quality although we don't eat a cooked breakfast.
Good food at reasonable prices, excellent location for both trips into Edinburgh and surrounding country side.
Easy to find, excellent staff, good value for money breakfast. If I am up that way again I will stay again.

Clean rooms.
The room and staff were great.
Loaction, cleanliness.
usual friendly staff.
New stylebed room.
Everything.
Friendly front desk staff. Table top restaurant had pleasant, attentive staff and a good choice of inexpensive meals.
40 to 50 minute bus ride into Edinburgh depending on the time of day. Although this would not stop me from staying here again. Before you prepay for any meals, I would recommend you eat at the restaurant first. Food is okay, but not superior. There is no savings by prepaying for meals so no great loss.
The high cost of the breakfast which we opted to pass on, although there were not many other options, we chose to eat some fruit and juice then eat an early lunch.
Nothing really.
Some initial confusion about our booking but it was soon sorted by
the staff.
Bathroom water not hot when returned from muddy day in Countryside. Cooked Breakfast very poor & inedible after long wait (45 mins to arrive) in the adjacent pub food place. Other food was great though..
Having to walk out in the cold to go for breakfast at the pub opposite.
The bed wasn't as comfortable as they usually are in Premier Inns.
Having to go next door pub for breakfast in the cold, but the food was good, and the staff helpful.
Going to another building for breakfast.

Car park within distance of the golf range. One car damaged whilst I was there. (Staff recommended where to park though).

Missed having a fridge microwave.
Bathroom was not cleaned properly, especially the tap. Were left without a hand towel on our second day. No complimentary biscuits.
