    Fabulous location! The staff were friendly and attentive, they also responded very well to problems when we checked in, so that said problems were overcome without our stay being spoiled.     Great location, good price, friendly staff, great leisure facilities,lovely modern room with some character. Didn't eat here so cannotcomment about food but menu and bar looked good. - Staff were welcoming, helpful and the food was fantastic and above all the bed was really comfortable. Would heartily recommend.

    Very friendly and helpful staff Hotel cosy and comfortable Value for money Very clean and nice room People complained about food taking long to be served. We dont think it was that long. The kitchen cater to several venues - lounge, bar and main dining room, so naturally will be bit stretched. But we thought the members of staff have done stirling... what people say » job with making sure we are okay and looked after - Value for money accommodation with excellent decor, comfortable bedroom, newly refurnished and sparkling clean bathroom WITH quilted loo paper, good toiletries and soft fluffy towel. Fab breakfast included in the price too. Also a great place to dine in the evenings, staff were great.

    "Pava" is situated on the outskirts of Tintern and has lovely views and easy walks from the doorstep. Tintern Abbey is a great place to visit, is quiet and peaceful. There are excellent walk in the area that cater for every grade of walker. The tree lined road from Ross on Wye to Tintern and beyond, out of season is a wonderful ride and in autumn... what people say » will look spectacular. Across the road from Parva there is a vineyard. Although a bit pricey the quality is great and a visit is recommended. (Access - Our room (no.2) on the top floor had a lovely river and hillside view. Bed linen, room and en-suite were all spotlessly clean. The room was very well appointed including plenty of wardrobe space. Although we did not use it the honesty bar in the large residents lounge is a nice touch and looked well stocked. A good choice of homemade food for an evening meal was available, but due to a late lunch we did not have the opportunity to indulge. Opposite there is also a nice pub if you fancy a drink

    As a stop-over for our family of 3 adults, young child and small elderly dog, we found Hilton Newport to be: very welcoming and professional; displaying a high standard of service, both at room level and in dining areas; accommodating ones wishes wherever reasonable and providing high levels of accommodation. We had advantage of a very good rate and consider our stay to have provided excellent value f - The price of my stay and the fact that I was a mother staying with my 21 yr old son. The twin room I stayed in was perfect for that situation. The chefs on that night ( 8/10) were brilliant and I am wheat free and dairy free they adapted the menu for me last minute and I felt spoilt. They were very busy that night but still took the time to make me my very own tomato sauce. Massive plus.

    For the price what was on offer was excellent, amazing value. The room, whilst basic in design and decor, was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was superb. The staff were fantastic, very polite and courteous. A great example of this is that we mentioned to the girl on reception (Spanish girl - think called ... what people say » Elena?) on the Saturday morning after the first night of our 2 night stay, that we needed our air con checked to ensure that it was working ok as we h - Staff on reception at check in were the most amazing I've ever come into contact with! I stay in hotels 44 weeks a year all over the country from budget to luxury and I was treated so well here I won't hesitate to return and recommend this hotel. The staff could not do enough for me despite booking .com not informing them I had even booked!     Hazel & Mike were great hosts. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I was trading at the Abergavenny Food Festival and Hazel gave me a flask of tea as she knew how busy we'd be which was a lovely gesture. She also allowed me to store some things in her fridge! Bedroom was cleaned daily. The location is fab - max 10m walk into town centre.... what people say » - Very friendly hosts and provided us with an evening meal without booking ahead, with last minute changes. Helped with bags and drying us out as it was really pouring.
