  On arrival we were told that we had been upgraded to a club room in their sister hotel the "Mountcalm" that is located across the road. All the staff where very friendly and helpful.   The reception was very accommodating. The room was quite small for 4 persons but very neat and manageable. Fixtures were in excellent condition. - we have stayed in elysee hotel about 9 times and have always found it to be excellent in all ways even before it was refurbished

  Great location, 5 mn walk from the tube station, quite close to the city centre (Marylebone, West End). The neighbourhood is very convenient, with lots of tasty and affordable restaurants on the main street + cafes and a supermarket. The hotel personnel is very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite comfy and spacious enough, but relatively nois... what people say » y due to thin walls (you can often hear doors slamming and people speaking), so don't forget your ear plugs:)- Overall a very good address though, and - Really nice helpful staff who took our bags to our room even though it wasn't ready and even did the same when we returned with some shopping. We came back after 10pm due to seeing friends but got our key with no problems. Nice comfortable bedroom and clean on the whole. Close to West-Hampstead Tube station Great breakfast! The hotel itself is really pretty and it's a nice area around it and the price we paid was great.

The rooms are very comfortable, modern, clean with large beds, good TV, airconditioning and very nice bathrooms. I've read in another review the roadside rooms can be noisy, but that was not our experience. In the evening it's also pretty quit on the streets. Breakfast is
