Leaving. Breakfast ok. hotel needed a complete overhaul and a good springclean. None. Breakfast was quite basic. Nobdoy on hand between 10pm and 7am.Could do with a bit of a refurbishment. The TV in one of the rooms we had didn't work. The bedding didn't look like it had been replaced from the previos person in my room. Felt that it needed a good decoration. Ok it was a budget b+b but it was very noisey, ie banging doors,creaking floorboards and I could even hear the guy in the next roomsnoring. Very basic cooked breakfast. Uncomfortable bed. I will not begoing back.no heating ,small sized ,dark room. Very poor breakfast. everything it was nothing like it was advertised: false advertisement!. Price and unwillingness of staff to assist, Rooms were cold and noisy.
I went for breakfast the first morning to be given one of everything and seven beans it was that small no wonder its included in price also I went once at 9am to be refused breakfast.Very noisy and creaky place. No comfort whatsoever. Will definitely not recommend to anyone. smell of cigarettes in the room, smell of the kitchen, tiny room, noisy doors banging in the night, cold room, very old bed and covers. The worst place I've ever stayed in. Misled by website that this was the nearest hotel to where I was working.

The Abbey Lodge is a 17 room bed and breakfast hotel. The 1900s style building means that the rooms vary in size with the ground floor rooms in particular having the high ceilings prevalent at that time, whilst the top floor rooms are smaller in size but still with high ceilings.
There's a breakfast room overlooking the back garden and a lounge with TV and shelves crammed full of books to suit all tastes.
The Abbey Lodge is less than a 10 minute walk from Ealing Broadway tube and mainline station which will take you into central London (Oxford Circus) in around 25 minutes. We're about 5 minutes' walk from the pedestrianised shopping mall in Ealing town centre and less than 5 minutes' walk from our sister hotel, The Grange Lodge.

The hotel is halfway between Heathrow Airport and London city centre. South Ealing Underground station is located 15 minutes’ walk away, and the airport is 15 minutes by car. The Heathrow Express stops at the Ealing Broadway station.
The area is surrounded by several parks such as Ealing Common, Walpole Park and Gunnersbury Park. The Royal Botanical Gardens are a few kilometres away from the hotel, and Kew is well served by the N65 bus towards Ealing, or by underground at Kew Gardens Station.
Ealing boasts a shopping centre with numerous shops located in a pedestrian area. A coffee bar, pubs, restaurants, bars and a bistro are near the hotel.

The locality is very well served by the London Underground system; Ealing Broadway has the Central District lines and British Rail, and Ealing Common Tube has the Piccadilly Line. Both stations are at most 10 minutes walk and thus the West End, the city, Heathrow Airport and the main railway stations of London, a half hour journey or less. By car, we're just off the a406 (North Circular Road) at the crossroads with the a4020 (Uxbridge Road)- head to the end of Ealing Common, follow the road down the side of the common and we're the 3rd turn on the right (Grange Park).
