    Very quiet, very contempory decor, and not disturbed at all. Freedom to collect key and leave without arrangement was great. Wireless Broadband was a real bonus, as was the coffee, milk and breakfast. Small things like dish washer tablets was also a nice touch.

    Owners Michael and Fiona were an absolute delight, nothing too much trouble. Fiona even produced some rice cakes for my non-wheat-eating partner at breakfast, and Michael dropped us off in town himself when we asked about taxis. Thanks again, Michael. The bed was huge and comfortable, and it was a nice touch to offer a flask of fresh milk for tea ... what people say » in the room (and cold, filtered water). Loved the lion in the garden and the bird in our room (metalwork sculptures, not real!). - We were at a wedding nearby so popped over to quickly check in between events! We received a warm welcome on arrival and our room felt homely and clean. Very comfortable bed with loads of pillows and bedding good quality. Excellent breakfast next day, service very good. Fiona and Mike are a lovely couple who quickly make you feel at home. We would happily recommend Hawthorn Farm to others.

    Room was furnished very well and the bed was extremely comfortable. Underfloor heating meant that we were always very warm. Good portion of cooked breakfast in the morning. Staff were friendly.     How staff were focused on customer care and service. I have stop in many top hotels around the world and Morley Hayes now sits in my top 10. The A La Carte menu was excellent as was the meal. Highly recommend. Looking forward to going back very soon. - The room was fabulous and dinner was amazing. The staff were excellent

    A relaxed pub atmosphere and obviously very popular and busy. Our room was in the Papermill pub across the road and was very comfortable although a bit noisy with sounds from the bar and smokers outside.     The couple at Mardon House were brilliant people, they were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They were really helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Our room was outstanding and worth every penny. - The room was excellent, the owners were lovely, and the full english breakfast was to die for.

    The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. In fact, the manager made a point of welcoming us as we enjoyed a pre-dinner drink in the bar which was very thoughtful.     I have never before bothered to write a review, not least because I travel a great deal. However, I would like to offer the highest possible praise for the Peak Edge Hotel and its staff. They are consummate professionals, very competent and friendly. Not charging a dime the manager rallied his mates in their 4x4s to s - Lovely hotel! I honestly didn't expect that much, as I travel A LOT for business and am rather immune to hotels.... It is clean and well fitted.... the bath was gorgeous and the staff couldn't have been friendlier! We felt a bit underdressed for dinner at the "Pub"... it's really more of a restaurant, but very nice food. Beautiful location, even saw a peacock just outside our bedroom window in the AM! Would definitely come back.

    We LOVED the Risley Guest House! The room was beautifully decorated with fresh and cheerful colors and so very clean. Wonderful fluffy towels and a modern bathroom were an added bonus!
