The accommodations were excellent and the hosts were very attentive and provided useful local advise on dining and wining. We have stayed in many a boutique before now and I can tell you with great confidence, that River Cottage comes extremely high on the list, only to be beaten by Kegworth House on va... what people say » lue for money.   We stayed at homesford cottage on the 22nd of March and were greeted by Julie who was incredibly welcoming. On that particular weekend there was quite a lot of snow and there were no taxis running on the Friday night so Julie gave us a lift into Cromford to one of the local pubs. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you're planning to visit the idyllic Derbyshire dales. - Beautiful location,room was immaculate & furnishings luxurious. But what made it extra-special was Julie- she was so welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast is cooked to order,just make sure you leave enough room for her home-made cake! Or take it with you! Thanks to Kathryn for her recommendation.Only regret was not being able to stay longer...but hope to stay again soon.Thankyou Julie x
