    The hotel was ideally located for visiting our family and friends for a big birthday party. The room was ideal in size comfort and facilities for our weekend needs. Staff were very willing to help and to please. Next to the hotel was a pub/restaurant which we liked a lot too, offering a carvery for our Sunday lunch with friends. The location would have been equally good for other purposes, e.g. exploring the Peak - The staff were so helpful - everyone from the lady I phoned on our way there when we were lost (sat nav issue) to the lady after I checked out who googled the closest petrol station for me. We had a small dog with us and we were on the ground floor which was perfect for those little trips outside. The room was perfect for our needs - clean and not over warm.

    Location was perfect just on the edge of town. The room was spacious and clean. There was an on site bar and restaurant so you didn't need to go out if you didn't feel like it. The Manager (Jason) was excellent so efficient and friendly.     Modern no-frills basic motor hotel aimed at the budget conscious traveller. Reminds me of Ikea with its functionally designed furnishings in bright colours and pale wood-coloured laminates. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. All-you-can-eat continental breakfast is £4.95 extra but is good value. Hotel is located in a travel plaza with other food opt - Great value for money. Clean and functional. The Cherry Tree Farm was great for food. My daughter had sausage and mash £4.95 and i had lasagne £7.95, big portions. Huge desserts, share one or you may be sick!! Had breakfast at the Ibis which was £4.95, a little dear, but we made sandwiches for lunch lol, so not so bad. Went to Alton towers which was easy to find from here. Would stay again.

    The staff were all very helpful and friendly throughout the weekend - Modern room, spacious bathroom and free internet access. Breakfast included giving good value compared to other local facilities. Will use again next time I'm in the area.
