The owners were prepared to drive me to a conference if there wasn't a bus. This is an establishment that goes out of its way to make your stay comfortable.

    Amanda was very welcoming and the homemade cakes were a nice touch. Our room was bright, clean and fairly spacious and breakfast was excellent. The B&B is in a quiet location but close to the town centre, which has plenty of shops and restaurants.     I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, wonderful choice and quality of breakfasts. The owner, told me he used to own a fish restaurant so that's obviously why the fish dishes are so perfect. Modern, bright up to date bedroom with a fabulous power shower. Safe and easy walk to both Windermere and Bowness. Food was unbelievable. Huge choice and excellent quality. Dining room is modern and there was a good atmosphere at breakfast time. Staff were efficient and friendly. Our budget room was clean and cofortable. Perfect for our stay. Limited parking on the premises but lots of free and unrestricted parkining across the road.

    We found the hotel to be lovely and comfortable and very tastefully decorated and had a very warm welcome on arrival. The breakfast was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome!     The hotel is fantastic. The room was fab and the service by the staff was outstanding. As soon as you arrive you get a friendly face welcoming you and they are so helpful. The pool was brilliant and clean.     All staff were very friendly, yet efficient and professional. The room was better than I expected for the price. We were given a free room upgrade on arrival.     The service was second to none. The staff were very cheerful and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was relaxed and very restful. - very friendly and cosy. great food. perfect place for a romantic weekend.we have been in the hotel twice and we cant wait to go back.

    Staying at Beech House has totally restored my faith there are guest houses that go beyond anything a hotel can offer. Maureen was so friendly, warm and inviting we just did not want to leave. The room was cleaned daily, the breakfast cooked to perfection and early check-in was not at all a problem. We would definitely return! - It's the best place I have stayed ever. Very kind and thoughtful staff. We brought our 1.5 years old for a leisure weekend. When we arrived the room, toys and a trolley have been prepared for her. The breakfast was wonderful. My wife and my daughter were really happy during the stay. Best place ever!

    We stayed for one night with our three children (aged 9, 7 and 5). The location is wonderful with views over Derwent Water. We had not stayed in a Youth Hostel before but it really suited us and we would definately consider going back. The children enjoyed the pool table and table tennis table. We travelled to Keswick by train and bus then walked to the hostel. Staff were very pleasant and helpful Food was good value, very tasty and plentiful. Liked having a proper sheet, pillow case and clean duvet cover. Self catering provision was excellent. Great facilities for children (table tennis, pool, games). Loved my stay.

    Coledale Inn was a very pleasant experience. The country setting is a short drive from Keswick and offers opportunities for scenic walking.
