We stayed at the hotel for my husband's 50th birthday. He is keen on trains so I requested, and got, a room overlooking the station. He was in his element. We arrived at 1pm and went in to drop our bags off but the staff were able to check us into our room which was a bonus. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Would definitely stay agai

The hotel itself is the star of the show...beautiful restoration.....it is like walking around a film set! Spa area is nice ...we swam early in the morning and had the pool to ourselves...but it IS small! Breakfast was included in our stay and it was fab! Great ambience and relaxing area to sit/eat...also lovely selection of food to choose from.

The decor and the ambience are fabulous, the whole concept is fantastic, the rooms, the gorgeous indulgent restaurant, the cosiness and opulence of the cocktail bar, but the most fantastic idea I have not come across before; the pantry! Fantastic hotel, art deco/contemporary design but with Victorian London architecture. The bar and restaurant remind me of boutique Miami locations.
Excellent location for Kings Cross/St Pancres & easy hop to the West End.
Great cocktails, nice ambience in the bar and the restaurant was more like a dining room, with initmate feel, great food and excellent service.
Rooms are not huge and but comfortable and very well furnished.

small, it was spotless And refurbished. We took a street level room as
there are no lifts and we had heavy cases and with the air con on plus
the double glazing had no issues with noise. Great for a short stay.

Excellent location, we were worried that it may be noisy in the room because of the location but we never heard a thing! The staff were very helpful and friendly! Highly recommend the breakfast (main reason we always book a Premier Inn :) ), we also had dinner on the first night which was very good value for money! Will definitely come back here to stay next time we are in London which hopefully won't be too long away as we never got the chance to see everything we wanted!

We stayed in this hotel from 18-22 November 2013. The room and bathroom were very clean, towels replaced everyday. Perfect location: 20 min walk to Pancras station, 15 min walk to Chinatown-Soho, 20 min walk to Trafalgar square, 25 min walk to Big Ben tower. British Museum, one of the best in the world, is only 5 min away. Personnel very kind: we needed a British electric plug. Instead of buying one, we could use one from the hotel during our 5 day stay. Staff were very attentive. I was able to leave luggage as I arrived well before check in time and they put it in my room for me. Room was clean and quiet. It was excellent that there was 24hrs free WIFI which was essential for business use
