    Walton was extremely functional and efficient in busy Edinburgh. Visitors intending to spend more time out of the room than in will find it fuss free, clean, and functional with a touch of comfort. The family room was great. Great breakfast. - The family room of 5! So few hotels have this facility. Car parking was available and staff were great with allowing us to leave it there even after we had checked out. Very friendly staff. Wonderful cooked breakfast.

    Thanks for a great experience in Edinburgh. The Randolph Mackensie really did prove to be one of the highlights of the trip. I've been apprehensive of guest houses but this place has removed any doubts for the future.     I would highly recommend this Guest House. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The vegetarian breakfast was deliciously unusual, I had a banana and burnt syrup pancake.     It is a little way out from the very centre, but a straightforward walk from the Guest house (takes 20mins) and there are loads of buses for £2.50 for a full day as many journeys as you like you can't really complain!
