  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries.   The front desk managed to get us rooms when we checked in at 10am after arriving straight from the airport. Another plus point was the close proximity to both Bank and Monument tube stations as well as Liverpool Street Station. There's a nearby Sainsbury and Tesco Metro stores for added convenience. It is true that the City was dead in the weekends... what people say » but we didn't mind. - Club Quarters chain is extremely consistant in quality. Values forweekend deals are terrific. The Superior rooms are superior in size andcomfort. In-room coffee/tea is wonderful-free coffee in lobby evenbetter. Decent, but not great, location for tourists - terrific forbusiness people - easy walk from Monument and Bank metro stops.

I loved the Rosebery so much I extended my stay from 1 week to 2 weeks. Close to tube and buses right on your doorstep.   Absolutely everything about our stay was amazing. From the lovely and accommodating concierge (Daniel) to the amazing view of the shard from the penthouse terrace. This apartment defintely had the wow factor for my partners 30th Birthday. Everything was sleek and modern yet still very comfortable.   Great place: very small, great rooms, perfect location between shoreditch and the city 2 minutes from liverpool street station, 15 minutes walk from bank. Staff incredibly kind. Great breakfast directly in the room. I'll go there again for sure!! - Great value for the location and would stay there again.
