  All the staff were friendly, (even though it was a big modern hotel)they were courteous and very helpful. A young man warmly greeted us atthe entrance when we arrived in the taxi and this warm welcome extendedto the checking in desk. The decor was very modern with a lot extras. Considering therate we paid, this hotel is five star compared to other hotels we stayedat before.   Once entering the hotel, we felt welcome greeted by friendly,smiling faces, from the staffs. As well as, from the guests. Our room was great; trendy, clean and comfortable.   We stayed here whilst my husband ran the London marathon and the location was perfect! (A minute walk from mile 25!). We only booked a basic small double, but it was large enough, very clean, the bed was amazing, the bar very stylish and although we were at the back of the hotel....which may be for the more basic rooms (and our view was of other b... what people say » uildings), it was absolutely peaceful at night! We slept with our window open and we couldn't believe we were in central London! We have already booke - Club Quarters is a brilliant choice to make if you are in the city for a short time and want to take in as much as you can. The location is superb. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. Free WiFi ( worked beautifully ) made our lives easier....charting routes, train timings, directions etc etc. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Simply loved the chilled water outlet and the Guest Services cupboard available for guests . a very thoughtful gesture by the hotel and much apprecia

  We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. The location was great - Southwark tube is 2 minutes away, St Paul's cathedral is a 15 minute walk and although the location is pretty central, we did not find the area too busy at all.... what people say » There were some nice places to eat near by - cooked breakfast for under a £5 in London! and a great food stall just up the road that serves homemade, - Especially friendly and helpful staff in total, but these 3 persons need an award: the very friendly mechanic who repaired the sink stop in a couple of minutes, the manager of the restaurant on 23.04./24.04.name: Iliantor ? the manager at the reception : Salem the location is fantastic, Globe,Tates, OXO,Thames cruises, tube, all in very short walking distance, was perfect for us! quiet room, nice design very delicious English breakfast in total: we will come again and also recommend this hotel

  This is the second time we have stayed at The Sanctuary House and was again fantastic, if not better. We stayed in an executive room so got a four post king size bed that you can get lost in and would recommend paying the little extra for the executive rooms.   The staff on reception were exceptionally helpful on our arrival and allowed us to check in 3 hours early and parked the car for us. We had just arrived from a business night in the Intercontinental Park Lane and taking away the fancy veneer in the room the City Inn was every bit as good (if not better). - Liked the fact that all the little extras ... what people say » were in the room and included in price (apart from prices for the mini bar) ie: free internet access, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, bath robes, mini bar, basket of goodies. There is also a fantastic cocktail bar and restaurant on site and amazing views. - City inn was absolutely brilliant. Clean and spacious,the room even had a Thames view. There was a computer in the room and broadband was free. I wish I had known about the complimentary tea/coffee/cakes which were out of view in a cupbord in the room and I only found out later when booking out.

  Nice check in experience - after asking staff about our welcome bottle of wine it arrived on ice to our room within minutes. An excellent way to start a night out. Room service was reduced by 25% between 3 and 5pm so had some food too. King Prawn Ceasar salad was great. Don't expect a great river view unless you have paid extra, perfect location... what people say » for all the main tourist activities in London. - Room was very clean and comfortable. The concierge was extremely helpfulin helping us with transport to the airport, as well as with suggestionsfor a nice restaurant. The kitchen is also very good. It was the besthotel that I've ever stayed at in London.
