We decided to stay at this hotel as is was close to Old Trafford. The view of the Salford Quay is stunning, especially at night time. Due to the tram system in Manchester, we found it easy to travel from this hotel to the (Manchester) city centre in 10mins or less due to the hotel being situated at the Salford Quays. The hotel was being refurbished at the time of our stay & we were both impressed with the rooms for such a budget hotel on how clean & organised it was run.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room had a shower in it right next to the bed with air holes and as a female staying with two male friends I didn't feel comfortable, the staff were so happy to move us to a bigger room with a seperate shower room. The parking is only £3 per day which is very cheap and the hotel is very close to the tram into Manchester city centre.

Loved everything about it. Will be telling all my friends that YMA is a must. Bar. Free parking. Room clean and spacious. I travelled down and stayed on the 18th June 2013 in a quadruple room with friends and it was fantastic!! Well worth the it for the price. Will be staying again. Gem x

The apartment was great. I booked for a one bedroom apartment and it was only for one person. I got there and the apartment was huge and had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was bread, juice, condiments, biscuits all provided free of charge. The staff were very helpful. Very comfortable stay!! - I was most impressed with the food provided
