  The hotel was clean, staff friendly. The only thing was the reception at the hotel is small, when we arrived a large party(around 20) was checking in, so we had quite a time to wait to check in. There also was only one lift working at this time so everything was slow.   We stayed there 5 years ago and decided to stay again as it was such a convenient and friendly venue. We went out for a celebration dinner on Friday evening and I happened to mention that it was our 53rd wedding anniversary. We've travelled all over the world and wouldn't have expected that kindness even from a 5 st - My mum and i stayed at this Premier inn as we were going to see Bon Jovi at Aston Villa FC, we really liked seeing the banners of Bon Jovi on arrival. The receptionist was very helpful and booked a taxi to the venue. I have to say i would stay with them again and all the people in Birmingham were very pleasant and helpful.

  I didn't actually stay in the hotel because we wanted to stay on Valentine's Night and we got 2 single beds instead of a double. The hotel had other people who had the same problem and I think it was due to the online booking agent rather then the hotel. There were no double rooms so we had to book another hotel.   The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great. The hotel was clean and I had left valuables in my room (forgot to put them in the free safe) and the cleaners did not steal anything. They gave me big room with a double-bed, with a modern decoration in the 8th floor. A great desk and office chair for work with laptop was available. A generous LCD with relatively good variety of British TV programs. The room was very quite, no noises interrupted me at sleep. Breakfast quality was compatible with paid amount.

  This was my second stay here (and I've booked for a third in September) and it was as good as the first time. Friendly staff, good food, nice beer and a very clean and comfortable bed. - The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. Also they were cheerful. The room was nice and clean, but was a bit to hot for me.
