    Staff were excellent & helpful.young lady on the Tuesday evening with v short blonde hair asset to the hotel along with the breakfast lady who was there everyday (middle age long hair) was so lovely. Rooms were spotless, we stayed in 519 with 2a/1c and had lots of room. Ate dinner n hotel twice ad canno fault the food- v varied menu. Woud stay... what people say » again and defiantly recommend. We were 2 minutes from the lanes and only a five minute stroll from the sea front & 10 from the pier at the most . - We liked the size of the family rooms. We split the 5 members of the family girls in one room and boys in the other. Breakfast on both mornings was amazing, we never qued or had to ask for something to be replaced. The staff were efficient and very polite. Our family really really enjoyed our stay and will be using the Hotel again when we next visit.

    It was different and really boutique like and I loved all the art and the cleanlines of the hotel. I also loved the accessibility of the hotel ie close to Brighton centre and the great sea view.     Stayed at the Umi Brighton for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a very nice breakfast which was included in the excellent rate. Will definitetly stay here again next time im in Brighton. - For 64 pounds we got a massive room with queen size bed sea view and breakfast (although the... what people say » ful english breakfast wasnt that nice) oh and not forgetting the nice bathroom. i was just surprized by how good it all was. i would deffinatly stay again.

    We asked for a sea view and got exactly that. Could not have asked for better. Could lay in bed and hear the sea at night. Perfect! Breakfast was good too and on until 11am so we could have a nice sleep in!! Room also came with its own friendly Seagull which came to say hello from time to time.     The receptionist ( dark hair , European) who checked us in and out was a great advert for the hotel , professional and very friendly , nothing was too much trouble for her .     It was a very enjoyable experience. We managed to find a late deal so the price of the room was reasonable.     Great atmosphere at hotel. Staff were so so helpful and polite. Good location. Bar area very relaxing. All in all a very relaxing hotel. Breakfast was served up hot as it should be. Hotel cleaners were excellent.     We definitely had the best room in the hotel with the best views!! Our room had a large bay window (glass from floor to ceiling) with an amazing view of the sea and the pier! Just what I wanted to wake up to on my Birthday! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was well equipped with a fridge, hairdryer, tv and coffee/tea making facilitie... what people say » s. The en suite bathroom was clean. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and the owner, who served breakfast the following morning, was very frien - Great location, over looking lovely green and not some dirty old street. Second visit here & would definelty come again. Parking is an issue but were given details of a road that was only a 15min walk away, but for £5 for 24 hour who cares. Good breakfast, good size rooms, perfect for the not so fussy people & perfect value for money. Staff were great, no problems with any requets for taxi booking etc. Very good and will definelty stay here on our next visit to Brighton

    Very welcoming and clean. Lovely building with decor to complement it. Owner was very nice and interested in what we had planned. If we needed a taxi he went out of his way to get us one. Vegetarians were also catered for with the breakfast. We were able to buy parking permits and park right outside the hotel which was less than half the price of ... what people say » a multistorey. Room itself was very comfortable and clean. Hot water was constantly available. Tea and coffee making facilities were also provided and - I liked the power shower / the continental breakfast was value for money at £5 / my bed was comfortable and the television was near the bed and easy to use / coffee was available in my room which was thoughtful and shampoo/cream/bodywash and towels were provided which was immensely useful

    Staff friendliness / helpfulness. Nice to get off road parking which seems in short supply in Brighton. Room was very nice too. - Nice Large Bright Rooms - great bathtub - took a bath every night.
