  The apartment was very comfortable, quiet and well located near the train station and the city center. The neighborhood appeared friendly and safe. There are many shops just a short walk away. It was also easily accessible, even for my dad who has reduced mobility. The apartment is equipped well enough for cooking a meal. I - I was recommended by another Singaporean who had a fabulous stay here in Dec 2012 We had a great stay.   This hotel is like my view of an old hotel should be steeped in history and splendour. It was a pleasure the rooms are not modern although they do have the touches like the plasma tv and modern bathroom. Overall I would not change anything about the hotel it was perfect. The staff seemed highly trained and overall it was a wonderful customer experi... what people say » ence. - All staff were absolutely charming and could not have been more helpful or efficient.
