  The service and staff were excellent. nice and friendly at breakfast and bar staff friendly. Very clean room. easy check-in and out. - Spacious clean room. Set meal in brasserie had good choice and was excellent value for money. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

  I loved the location, short walking distance to town centre, University, Railway station. I loved it's quirky creaky floors, wooden beams etc. It was clean and comfortable, lovely soft bed with crisp linen, tv wi-fi tea/cpffee facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly. When I returned in the evening the pub was packed with pub quizzers deep in t... what people say » hought but I was able to relax in my room in comfort and barely heard them. - Lovely old building, staff very friendly, helpful offered to carry my bag up to my room....was shown where breakfast takes place and into my room I was in room 3, which shares a wall with the kitchen (albeit below me) and there was quite a bit of noise from staff radio...I spoke to reception who quickly and efficiently sorted out the problem - couldn't ask for more!

  I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the room. It was modern, clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Although on a main road, it was very quiet.   We were made extremely welcome. I had asked a question on the booking form, which was replied to immediately, which gave me peace of mind. The room was comfortable, and clean. A supply of fruit was placed in the room, complete with cereal and fresh milk, and tea coffee etc, We were advised that a cooked breakfast could be served the next morning... what people say » providing we informed staff that evening. Breakfast was served from 10.am on the Sunday, We thought that we would have to skip breakfast, as we had - The accommodation in the windmill itself is really quirky although if you are tall the height of the ceiling in the bathroom might be an issue and you would be better requesting a room in the old stable block. The continental breakfast The Windmill Inn offers is lovely; two croissants each, one plain and one fruit, with plenty of butter and choice of jams, fresh fruit, fruit juice, and lots of tea, coffee and fresh milk.   staff were extremely friendly and helpful. room was exactly as advertised, huge bed which was comfortable, lovely bed linen and pillows - I like the bed at the hotel, did not expect a king size bed. Thereceptionist at the hotel was very kind and helpful.
