the food at the grange. Charming staff and clean and pleasant facilities. Friendliness and helpfulness of reception staff.IT was clean and staff pleasant and helpful. size and comfort of rooms and degree of amenities for price. The help and consideration of the staff. All 3 reception staff that I saw were very friendly However, the receptionist on duty on Sunday morning 2nd November was extremely helpful and I really appreciated her kindness.Extremely comfortable bed and excellent value for money. Very helpful receptionist.Fit for purpose. Fine. play golf. The most cooperative and pleasent staff I have ever met at any hotel anywhere in the world - literally, it was a real pleasure. Quick and easy to book.convenient. Helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, and the hotel was very convenient for my onward journey.Comfortable and in the right location. Breakfast service was particularly good with fresh and freshly preparedfood although at extra cost. The rooms were large and beds comfy. Good breakfast - but it was an extra. Liked the no fuss booking in/out. Staff very friendly.I did not like the stairs to the top floor, reason being, my wife doesnot like lifts, so I took the stairs with her. But other than that, everything was good. Not having somewhere sheltered to smoke. very minor detail tv remote did not work, shower head leaked.not enough to complain about. The lorry [loading or unloading] at 7 on the Friday morning. We were in room 15 and it seemed like it was just outside our window. Other than that it was lovely. And i would stay again.Could do with a better map. I came up A12 from south, only sign for Boreham had Hospital A and E, which confused me, as it was not clear whether sign was for Boreham or Hospital. Turns out both. price. My wife found the room slightly cool. I feel that there should be drinking water in the rooms. I woke up at 4am dehydrated so the option of bottled water or a drinking water tap would have been good.reception slow. A bit mis-leading as two premier inns within quarter of mile. Radio and alarm clock would be useful and more supplies for tea/coffeemaking facilities. Some signposting from main roads would help in finding the hotel. Had 3 rooms. On one of the beds there were small spots of blood on the sheets. Power failure in another of the rooms (quickly resolved). Blocked sink in one room.
