  This hotel is a real find and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bristol. The location is excellent and the hotel has a real buzz.   Although we only stayed for one night and our actual time in the hotel was very brief, both my partner and myself were totally impressed with everything that we saw. The Spa was lovely and relaxing plus spotlessly clean and there's a clever little machine where you can dry your swimming costume, unfortunately it ate mine, but that's another story! Plenty of free parking too, which was a bonus. Definitely recommend!!

  Stayed 18-20th July 2013 room 210. Had a great stay here. Arrived a bit early at 12.30 but there was a room ready so we could check in. The parking is right next door in the NCP multistorey carpark. Unfortunately the carpark lifts are out of action but that's NCP's fault. My husband and I stayed with our granddaughters aged 3 and 7) We walked through the door to be greeted with mince pies and mulled wine and a friendly and festive welcome to us and our grandchildren. The member of staff who checked us in understood our needs (my husband is disabled) and those of our grandchildren and put herself out to ensure these needs were met. The hotel was busy but we felt we were treated as if we were the only guests. We expect Mariott's to be comfortable and clean,

It is new and clean which is pretty rare for hostels. Showers are new and clean too. Tv lounge on the ground floor is a great concept. The rooms weren't quite as nice but perfectly acceptable. The wifi was good but you have to pay for it and it doesn't reach the bedrooms - only available in the communal areas. Location is fantastic.

  This is our fourth stay at the Mercure Holland House, Bristol. We have always received the best of attention from the staff who are very pleasant to a one. Our room is always good and we mostly have been able to have the same room on each stay. Breakfast is very good and we have had some lovely dinners there.   Clean, comfortable, safe and plenty of parking and very convenient for my purposes. I would recommend it in future. - They were very accomdating after the booking system made an error and over booked the family rooms. Very impressed.

Tea/coffee tray in a room had plenty of coffee sachets and tea bags unlike other hotels that would only have one or two. Also, bed is huge, much bigger than we expected.
