  The highlight of this hotel has to be the breakfast - it is easily the best I've ever had, and if i were to return to Bath, I have no doubt I'd stay at this hotel again. The staff were very polite and welcoming, and the room was absolutely spotless. The bed was enormous and comfortable... and I'm going to try and track down what duv - What a fabulous place to stay with a family! We had a 2 room suite-kids on the fold out couch and us in a huge king size bed. Plenty for kids to do, play ground fabulous, and lots of new things planned for the future at Brittons so we'll be back. Very luxurious, beautifully designed and warm under floor heating ( and it was COLD outside)! Hosts were great, super friendly and made us feel very welcome! The in-room breakfasts were fantastic, kids loved there coco pops! Oh and loved the Portugese

Walking was easy and park and ride was conveniently close although car park gets full quickly. Would love to go back in the summer.   We had a brilliant 2 day stay here. The room was fitted out really well and to a high standard, e.g. a memory foam mattress and a really solid, classy bathroom with a super shower that pleased the American boyfriend who's always amazed at our piddly English offerings...in this case he got 2 shower heads at full force! Taxi fares back were £6-7ish but Catherine and Jamie seeme - A wonderful home away from home. A very neat place, Jamie and Catherine are the most friendly hosts I have ever met. Offered me a lift into town, my room was beautiful with a beautiful view of the city of Bath from the verandah. My breakfast was cooked to my needs. I will definitely stay here again and again. A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill. Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.

  Brocks is a really lovely Guest house. Four of us stayed in the lovely top floor family room from which you can see the famous Crescent and the Circus. The décor was so pretty throughout the whole house and the attention to detail was amazing. The lounge was beautifully decorated for Christmas complete with a sparkling tree. Karen and Rachel made us feel so wel - We received a warm welcome from Karen and her daughter Rachel. Our room was at the top of the house but well worth the climb. It was exceptional, very clean, very comfortable and the attention to detail was superb. We had a choice of breakfast dishes which were served to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed. The house is in a fantastic position as everything is within easy walking distance. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brocks Guest house

  I stayed for 1 night whilst attending a wedding in Bath and had a very pleasant stay. I had been in correspondence with the owner prior to arrival as I knew I would be in Bath for around midday so requested an early check in- he was very accommodating throughout and when I arrived my room was ready. The house and my room were both lovely, nice dec... what people say » oration, spacious and with everything you would need. The next morning I came down for breakfast at 9:50 as I hadn't been told that it was served at 9 - Great location and hospitality from the owner "Giac" Unusual to receive a text both before and on the day of arrival but very welcome (and sensible!) We were able to confirm what time we wanted to arrive and check in. Room was very clean and comfortable (especially the bed) The shower was great too. Breakfast is taken in the basement kitchen and was fresh and wonderful quality. It is only a 10minute walk or so into the city so was a great location for going in to shop and leter to have dinner.

  We loved our stay in this B&B. The hosts (Mary and her husband) were very friendly, helpful and flexible. We felt like we were at home. Breakfast was better than in a 5-star hotel! The situation of the B&B is central, so easy access for visiting the city.
