We were made to feel very welcome on arrival at reception. The receptionist was cheerful, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff in the dining room were pleasant and helpful too. We would definitely stay again.

For us, the simplicity of the full clean domestic facilities with no unneccesary clutter. It was a no-fuss stay. We managed to do enough self-catering to keep costs down and be self sufficient, but still go out and treat ourselves on occassion. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfy.
Breakfast was buffet style with a cooked breakfast also on offer and would suit everybody.
The Fernbank could not be better located,on the main street at the centre of everything.

Everything was positive. The owner is really charming and we were pleased to be so welcome whenever we stay a short night (departure at 5 for the aeroport).
