  I loved everything about the hotel. Every member of staff was reallyhelpful and quite lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The bookingout time of 12 noon was realistic and breakfast between 7 and 11 wascertainly more civilised than some hotels. I would certainly staythere again. - Great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and modern rooms ... what people say » and excellent parking facilities for an extra charge.   Cannot find fault with anything. The pool was particularly good for our little one. All of the staff were really helpful. Restaurant excellent and again, the staff were fantastic.   The whole trip was fantastic. We arrived late Thursday evening and there was someone there to check us in and show us to our rooms. The room was beautiful, old charm mixed with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was superb, so nice to have a hot choice of breakfast freshly cooked for you in the morning. Couldn't fault the place - can't wait to go back! - The building and room were very impressive. There was a relaxed atmosphere and I felt like I was experiencing a little bit of luxury whilst staying there. Breakfast was a delight. When we arrived we were shown round and given a complimentary cup of tea. I think u get cookies too as several people saidvthey were coming altho we never got any. But we weren't fussed and I think that this was a wonderful touch.

  Loved the comfortable mix of modern and traditional; state of the art bedroom with giant flat screen, but with deep traditional Victorian style bath. Comfortable furnishings. Helpful staff. - The bed linen and towels are lovely, very luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel is close to the city centre, around a 10- 15 minute scenic walk. There are restaurants and a supermarket very nearby. Walking distance to the train if minimal, easy to manage luggage. Staff were excellent. Highly recommend this hotel, it is very beautiful.
