This was a second visit because we loved it so much the first time. Location is wonderful - quiet and peaceful with the lovely uncrowded beach at Totland easily accessible. Easy to get the bus from Yarmouth and to travel round the island. The hotel is extremely comfortable, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfasts are delicious - the best poached eggs ever- and the staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. Definitely the best of the many hotels we have stayed in on the Isle of Wight. W

The owners were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The 2 bedroom suite was immaculate in every way. Huge choice of teas and coffee in room and owner will cook a simple supper if requested - home made soups were excellent. we loved everything about Rockstone Cottage, and amazing place. I cannot rate it highly enough, from Sheena and Gary to Millie the dog were so welcoming we feel we have made friends for life. the facilities was second to none, with every comfort catered for. even to cakes and chocolates every day.
