  It was wonderful. The place itself was perfect, and it is run by the most accommodating, friendly couple (and their young boy, who proudly showed us to our room). Notably, having always felt imposing in family-run establishments, I found it refreshing to feel such a combination of privacy and service as I experienced at Sentry Mead. Most of all th... was die leute sagen » ough, it's the place with the shortest walk to the sea in the area, and walking up the coastal road footpath to see the sunset is something you're lia - This was a second visit because we loved it so much the first time. Location is wonderful - quiet and peaceful with the lovely uncrowded beach at Totland easily accessible. Easy to get the bus from Yarmouth and to travel round the island. The hotel is extremely comfortable, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfasts are delicious - the best poached eggs ever- and the staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. Definitely the best of the many hotels we have stayed in on the Isle of Wight. W

  Rockstone Cottage was a delightful place to stay, the bedrooms were first class, lovely bedlinen, fluffy towels and homemade cakes were left in our rooms every afternoon, attention to detail was perfect.
