  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.   Nice, modern apartment. Less than ten minutes by feet from the Central line of the tube, 1 minute from the bus stop. The staff is kind and efficient. There are always people in the surroundings streets, at every hour of the day and of the night.
