    Glad we made the choice to stay here. Tremendous welcome and attention. Caroline was at the door to welcome us and help with the considerable luggage. During the visit I left my phone in a shop, went back and it was shut, told Caroline who knew the owner, got in touch and the phone was returned. Attention to detail - lovely thick large towels and dressing gowns, spare blankets and hot water bottles, biscui - I took my friend to Rosebud cottage for a birthday treat. We had a wonderfully relaxing few days away. Caroline and Adrian are perfect hosts, ensuring our comfort at all times, even providing 'birthday treats' on our return after a day exploring the local sights. They are friendly and welcoming, without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. We will both return in the future with our respective families and friends. A lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries. Thank you Caroline

    The staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms were very warm. I have no complains however I would like to suggest that the place could do with more housekeeping staff (having been a chamber maid myself at one time) otherwise its good value for money. - The hosts were very polite and hospitable when needed.
