An outstanding small hotel in a beautiful valley. You would hardly know that you were just a couple of miles from both Bradford and Halifax (but the latter city has remarkably preserved much of its urban fabric as a pioneering site of the early industrial revolution and should not be missed!). Don't miss trips to Saltaire, East Riddlesdon Hall and just possibly (for Bronte fans) Haworth. Good walking nearby and plenty of quiet roads off the beaten track.

We had a very friendly welcome. We arrived about 7pm expecting to be able to order a meal, unfortunately they stop serving at 6pm on Sundays (9pm other nights). Seeing how diappointed we were the young woman went to ask the landlord if he could reccomend somewhere or provide a sandwich. Richard very kindly made us fish and chips, which were excellent and so very welcome after a full day on the road.

Staff, Cathy, cook and evening barman very friendly and helpful. All facilities were immaculately clean and shower/bath/hairdryer/kettle were all in perfect working order. Beds were very comfortable. Food was tasty and of high standard and all were reasonably priced. Would recommend a stay at the fleece and would definitely return should I revisit Haworth.

Delightful surroundings, a charming building that has been sympathetically and recently restored to a very high standard. The Staff provided an outstanding service, ably supported by an excellent chef. The evening meal was excellent; terrific flavours and superb value for money, as was the breakfast. And if you like a good ale there are plenty to choose from. Very highly recommended.

Comfortable with everything we needed and easy to come and go, as we were visiting family in the area. Well placed in town with many eating places and shops on hand. Cinema next door would be useful to some. Car park system could have been confusing but the hotel rang a couple of days before and explained it, then a super nice attendent in the car

Incidently we were mother and daughter in seperate rooms which doesn't fit your categories above -
1/ Welcome and friendliness of Reception, even remembering conversation details talked of on previous visits.
2/ Good quality food and friendliness of staff in the Beefeater. Again, 2 waitresses remembering us from previous stays.
3/ Normally, at a breakfast we have all our family (ie 15 approx.) finding a table etc is never too much trouble to the staff and they make everybody welcome.
4/ cleanliness upheld throughout our stay.
WE WILL BE BACK asap.

Our experience of the Old Registry was excellent. Key aspects: great location - centre of Hawarth; great breakfast; comfort and cleanliness of the room we were allocated - 'Music Room'; attentiveness of the hotel staff (when required). - It was right in the centre of Haworth and so very convenient. It was a very good breakfast.

i stayed at the double tree hilton for the easter weekend with my partner. we found this hotel to be fantastic value compared to others in the local area as well as being in a great location. everything was within a 5 mins stroll like bars, restaurants and the new trinity shopping centre. the staff were very friendly and helpful with information of the local area. parking at the hotel was very handy asare rarely found at city centre hotels. the room itself was fresh, modern, and very clean with
