    The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bar and food are available 24-7 (unlike many hotels I have stayed in). The location is excellent and I had a nice view of the river Avon. The room was excellent: really spacious and clean with tea and coffee making facilities available. I was put in a disabled access room so the bathroom... what people say » was large with a lovely big shower. Shower power was really good and hot water readily available. The room was so quiet (I stayed midweek) and it was - Great value and location for this model hotel. Staff were helpful and rooms were very updated and clean. The free internet in the lobby was a great service. The location of this hotel was close to the Temple Mead Station for rail travelers and connects to several bus routes. IT was very quite and again, staff were approachable and helpful. Great place to stay for families, business, or mature couples. Love the hotel.

    It was very convenient in terms of its proximity to the airport. Despite being close to a main road, the rooms have double glazing and we didn't hear any noise whatsoever. The family room was big enough for us and also accommodated a cot, and the bathroom was also large and spacious.     I loved the cosmopolitan atmosphere, the helpful staff, and the specialtouches such as cafetiere in the room with real coffee and real tea, andeven a bowl of fruit.     It is not far from the city center and the harbourside (everything is so nice!) and it is close to the bus station and the shopping quarter and cinemas.     The room I stayed in again was a wonderful size. The staff are alwaysfriendly and welcoming.     The staff were friendly and sorted out our queries quickly and efficiently, the room was comfortable and a decent size, the room was quiet despite being by a busy road. - Great friendly service, comfy bed, fabulous shower and father Christmas giving out gifts over a delicious breakfast.     The staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble , my husband was in Bristol hospital and we come from Cornwall the staff told us what buses to catch where from etc times I was so great full and if I needed the room for another night just let them know from sheenabough - Staff friendly and efficient.     I have just moved to Bristol for work, and stayed at the yha several days while looking for accommodation. Overall, yha Bristol is a very good hostel compared to the standard. It is new and clean which is pretty rare for hostels. Showers are new and clean too. Tv lounge on the ground floor is a great concept. Excellent location and staff was very ... what people say » friendly. - I had a great stay. The hostel had really good communal areas - more like a chic coffee house than a budget hostel. The rooms weren't quite as nice but perfectly acceptable. The wifi was good but you have to pay for it and it doesn't reach the bedrooms - only available in the communal areas. Location is fantastic.

    We were attending a concert at the nearby Castle & chose it as it was so close. The staff were all excellent especially the breakfast staff who were friendly even though they were busy. The value was brilliant and surpassed my expectations & was more impressive than a recent stay we had at a very posh London hotel .... I was initially a little put off by the insert your card reception but it was indeed a speedy process & staff were - The staff were extremely helpful. Kept charging my phone for me as I'd left my charger at home. Even googled and printed off some bus routes and times for me to get to the zoo. Great location, 5 minute walk to restaurants, cinema and bowling and a further 5 minutes to the mall. Buses right outside the hotel can get you pretty much anywhere. We got th 54 then 9 to the zoo. 54 all the way to Cabot Circus/Harbor and 54 then 74 to Parkway Rail station. Food in the Thyme restaurant was very nice and
