    This B&B is by far the warmest and most beautiful B&B I have ever stayed! I was greeted with a friendly welcome from the owners and a cosy warm log fire in the background. The rooms are large, very clean and have a lovely rustic feel to them. In the morning I was offered a range of breakfast from fruit to cereal to hot cooked food and agai... what people say » n the lovely hot log fire in the background! The grounds around the B&B are spacious and beautiful. I loved this B&B so much I am now booking - David offered to drive me to the local pub and collect me when I had finished because I had been driving in thick fog in the dark and was nervous of going out in it again (and I needed some dinner). I settled on staying put and he kindly made me a sandwich to keep me going until my lovely breakfast the following morning. Thanks David x

    The hostess and her family were lovely and couldnt do enough for you even took us to our evening destination. The breakfast was absolutely perfect and served in a period dining room.     Attentive staff, made to feel welcome, responded positively to all requests, friendly atmosphere in restuarant, excellent food, very well prepared with local fine ingredients. Room exceptionally clean and well equipped, 4 poster room delightful. Overall the Auberge restaurant and accommodat - We were welcomed and shown to our room immediately. It was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom with large shower. We ate dinner there. The menu had a good number of mains choices. We chose the guinea fowl breast which we found rather overcooked. However the starter and home made bread made up for this. The house red was mellow and not expensive. The breakfast was generous and enjoyable. The staff were polite and friendly.

    We were so impressed with our apartment, we booked an additional two nights on the tail end of our trip. Everything about the accommodation far surpassed our expectations and we will not consider staying anywhere but here when we find ourselves back in the area. - Lovely, spotless apartment.     I traveled over to the area for a two day flyball seminar and wanted somewhere that was happy to accommodate my two dogs as well as myself. The owners were great and very helpful. Room was perfect situated just across the way from the main house with separate entrance and shower, toilet facilities across the corridor. It felt more like an apartmen... what people say » t than a B & B. Room was very big, clean, ample size for my dog crates, all the usual TV, kettle coffees and really nice stem ginger biscuits !! C - A nice and peaceful location. Only a couple of miles away from Newmarket. The breakfast was great. Really set me up for the day. A nice added touch to have a little bottle of Actimel to drink. The room was nice and comfortable and a good size. Was really kind of Wally to give me and my daughter a lift into Newmarket in the morning instead of having to get a taxi. If we do visit Newmarket again we would consider staying again.

    Thought this hotel was awesome. The whole experience was amazing. Total value for money.Would recommend it to everyone. Will definately be going back. - Everything was so easy. Really accommodating and free upgrade as it wasmy husband's birthday was a lovely touch....made us feel really spoilt.

    When we arrived at the hotel we were greated at reception by happy friendly staff. The quality and presentation of the hotel was outstanding. My husband and I only stayed for one night but it was a very pleaurable stay in a beautiful clean and spacious room. Breakfast was very nice and certainly set us up for a good start to the day. We felt special from the minute we walked through the doors! Everywhere was clean and tidy. All the staff were impeccably turned out, polite and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and the shower was lovely and powerful. The bed was massive!!! The bedding was clean and fresh.

    I came from USA for the Service of Blessing in St. Mary's. I just loved the whole of the Ickworth estate. It was great to be able to see the work done on the church and graveyard and be able to see where my family are buried. See the monument and where monument cottage stood. I hope to come again. - The food was incredible, the room was amazing... what people say » , the staff were all really friendly & helpful & the location was stunning. Will be back

    We stayed in the Superior Room which was superb. The breakfast was the best we have ever had. The dining room was lovely. Good car parking. We will be going again! - Very relaxed atmosphere and very helpful staff; nothing was too much trouble, and the room was excellently appointed.

    This is a beautiful country style hotel set in large well kept grounds. Excellent Wireless Internet Connectivity throughout the hotel at no charge. - The staff was very accomodating and extremely polite.

    I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was superb.the bed was really comfortable. The food was of a high standard.the bar had a lovely log fire and a good selection of local ales and lager all resonably priced.all in all I found it a great choice except that as I travelled by train, the nearest station darsham involve... what people say » d a £15 taxi ride but that at least was my choice.i would certainly stay there again. - we stayed in a kinda annex the room was called Southgate. It was really comfortable. There was a DVD called "Whatever happened to Dunwich" that was entertaining! The meal at night and breakfast was fabulous...and "Mine host" was helpful and friendly....Plenty of free parking and the beach 2 mins away...I'm sure we will stay again
