Our room was lovely. We booked a 'deluxe double room with a view' on offer for £71. It had a very comfy, big bed, bath with decent overhead shower, bathroom was clean (as was whole room). The room had windows along one wall, which gave a beautiful view over the little harbour with boats and lots of pretty sky. Pleasant staff providing a good service.
As regular visitors we appreciated the efforts made to deal with the weekend breakfast issue when the hotel is full with wedding guests - by advising of the best time and warning that there might be delays. so on the Sunday morning we took a stroll into Sudbury

A pleasant day for our stay so enjoyed a good cream tea on the balcony followed by Pimms (it was a surprise 70th). Later drinks in the bar seated on comfy chairs / sofa followed by an extremely good meal and breakfast the following morning.

Staff at hotel were so helpful and went out of their way for us.. Breakfast was really good with a lot of selection of choices and meals in evening and were very reasonable in price as were bar drinks in prices as well. Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable and quiet.
