    it was a nice clean and quiet hotel with well mannerd friendly staff who could'nt do enough for you. with easy acess to all amenities. thanks to the manager and all his staff for a pleasent stay and not forgetting the chef for his fine food....recomended - The very pleasant and helpful staff attitude not often found in many places these days.     We liked the location of the hotel. It was easily accessible from the tram and close to shops and other amenities. Even though they were in the middle of renovation, we were given a ground floor room, and not inconvenienced. - Been to this hotel before, and will definatley use again.     I stayed overnight with my mother after having surgery at the first trust hospital. The hotel was very clean, spacious , modern and comfortable and the service we received was excellent. The night porter was very friendly and good to us when we got up at 5am for breakfast before leaving that morning. Didnt matter too much as there was a sofa bed. Overall very - Your staff were so friendly and helpful and I would certainly recommend your hotels. This was nothing to do with your staff at your Hotel When we got out of the lift on to the 1st floor there was a distinctive smell of smoke that some one had been smoking on that floor. We informed your staff at your check in desk who were quick to action a member of staff to investigate the smell and also introduced the person to us.     It was turkey and tinsel week (we were unaware when we booked). Comfort was excellent, food was brilliant, table served and a different menu every day with a choice of 5 starters, main courses and deserts. Entertainment in the evening was great and got everyone involved. Also had coach trips included in the price to shopping venues and mecca bin... what people say » go. 95% of other residents were active pensioners. - The whole experience of staying at the Viking was wonderful, especiallythe fact that it is a 'child free' hotel and we had the freedom tosmoke in our hotel rooms that did not upset or offend other residents.It was also extremely quiet and peaceful.     Me and my husband came to Hacketts York House on Valentines day 2014. What a lovely, enjoyable time we had, so glad we booked here. The staff are so friendly, chatty and helpful. On arrival we were first greeted by 2 friendly members of staff in a bright, airy reception area.     The staff and owner were very sympathetic as my van broke down and didn't arrive till 1:00 am and they waited for me to arrive a big thumbs up from me and if I'm in the area again I will be staying there :) - Great staff.     The hotel was clean and tidy and staff on arrival were friendly enough. The bar area was nice and relaxed with drinks being reasonably priced. Although some of the guests at 1am were rowdy even though we were still drinking in the lounge area it made it uncomfortable that they we're bring like this and not asked to be quieter especially when there... what people say » were a few little children staying in the hotel. The room was clean and tidy and we had a sea view although that's not that important as we did not s - The hotel was spotlessly clean and the furnishings and beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent and very good value for money. The lounge area was lovely and the furnishings were modern and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful when approached, especially the barman. The hotel is in a very central position on the promenade so it was an ideal base to explore Blackpool and the surrounding area.

    Simon and Rhona made us very welcome. A great couple making a real effort with the Guilderoy - our stay was excellent . A very nicely decorated place, located in a quiet area but convenient for the centre. Excellent food (I need to diet now!). Their web site is very honest, and states what they offer - do take a look.     we were met at the door by vernon the owner what a very nice man so pleasant the rooms were good beds were very comfy nice little bar and the lounge has a great view overlooking the sea.
