    The room was extremely comfortable and we were very impressed with the size of the room and the HUGE bed we had! The hotel is in a fantastic location for the town.     We had a fantastic stay at the hotel, everything was first class. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, the staff very friendly and accomodating.     I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. It also has a bar and restaurant on site which allows you to sit, relax, eat and drink (with a good selection of cocktails,... what people say » whiskey, and local brews. The staff was very nice. - The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time.     The location is world class, this area should be a world heritage site. The hotel is beautifully situated, close to the harbour and alongside well marked walks into an arboretum with amazing views over towards Skye or up through the Flowerdale Glen to Waterfalls.     We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots. In the morning fantastic Scottish breakfast was served, excellent guest house location and view! :) What was crucial for us - very convenient car park!     Absolutely first class service - friendly, helpful, welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. I will look forward to staying there again next time I am in the area. - We were upgraded to room with a view over the loch at no extra charge simply because the room was available. Very impressed.

    The inn is right opposite the working port. I found the view from my room lovely and the stevedores calling, the boats and ships and the fog that rolled in very atmospheric. The room was clean and comfy and the staff were excellent, particularly the lady who dealt with my check-in. People taking the ferry from Scrabster to the Orkneys could not fi... what people say » nd a more convenient place to stay. Free parking across the road. - The welcome we received from Sarah was a credit to both her and The Ferry Inn-thank you. The room was excellent and most comfortable. The location was ideal for our touring purpose. Popeye's was great for our Bar snack in the evening, where it was lovely to chat to the locals, and The Upper Deck was lovely for breakfast the next morning.
