Beautiful 3 course meal at the Stag & Pheasant for £10.99 and an am - Wonderful stay, such a change from the last time we stayed the staff are friendly and the rooms recently refurbished. Food excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and wonderful evening meal would recommend. Good value for money for a budget hotel.

WE stayed at the Esplanade to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary the location is stunning with fantastic sea views. Although the hotel was very quiet because of the time of year, we were made to feel very welcome and the cooked breakfast was lovely. It was lovely driving through the picturesque coastline and small towns to get there as a stop over. It was Bank Holiday. Lovely cooked breakfast in morning. They suggested places to go for a meal which was nice. The Grosvenor in Cardigan down by the water.

Shirley & Francis are very friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was excellent value, very spacious & comfortable. The breakfast was superb, lots of choice, served piping hot and at a time of our choosing. We look forward to going to Borth again & would highly recommend Heulwen to anyone, a real gem.

Chris and Issi were welcoming, genuinely cared, and were knowledgeable of the local area and attractions. Excellent breakfast, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit bowl, quality cooked organic English breakfast and homemade butter/jam etc. So good and filling we didn't need lunch :)
Cute jack Russell doggy (kept in own downstairs room during breakfast/not allowed upstairs to guest bedrooms).

The welcome was great, we had a tasty good value home cooked meal from a comprehensive menu, served in our room including wine. This was just what we needed after a long journey and didn't want to go searching for somewere to eat.
