    The hotel was well designed and the situation could not have been better, sat above the beach at Mawgan Porth, with spectacular views. The facilities were good and the rooms comfortable & well appointed. The food in the restaurant was expensive but delicious.     The location, high on the headland within a couple of strides of the beach, fashion & surf shops and cafes. The staff are friendly and efficient. The spa is just what one expects from a brand new facility, although the pool could be larger for the serious swimmer. There is an outside pool which looks good although we did not test it. All in all we had a VERY relaxing and enjoyable stay, we will certa - Awesome historic building overlooking the sea but don't be put off. Room was very modern, heated bathroom floor and the best shower I've ever been in. Clearly renovated recently. Restaurants were good, great breakfast (overlooking the ocean) and dinner. Friendly enough staff. Little expensive but not overpriced. Would stay here again.

    Beautiful building. We had a lovely room in the main building with a great view. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Facilities for our 23 month old were excellent including childens tea which made being away with a little one very easy. We didn't use the crèche but would have done if we'd stayed longer. Baby listening was great as it gives paren... what people say » ts the chance for freedom with dinner & a drink. Staff are a pretty young team who try really hard to make things work. Fowey is a lovely little t - The Fowey Hall hotel was amazing! The staff is attentive, friendly and very helpful. The suite was clean and comfortable every day of our stay. Children are welcome and provided recreational activities indoors and outdoors. Breakfast was wonderful, my girls miss Cherish, the greatest waitress! Overall our stay was amazing in this beautiful former Hanson mansion. Still maintaining it's character and 19th century charm. We will definitely visit again.

    All the staff were freindly: there were plenty of acticties to do. the rooms were big with lots of facilities. - Informality and the feel of a well run establishment.

    Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Handy location for picking up the coastal path going west. Nice part of town. Views from the room were stunning. - Great location with views from the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast overlooking the bay. Id stay here again without hesitation.

    We booked a suite and it was worth every penny, great views great room great breakfast. We had a swim and had the pool to ourselves its a little dated and in need of some TLC but you would have to be a real winger to complain about this detail. The lifts worked fine but we opted to walk up the tastefully decorated stairs. The staff were very helpf... what people say » ul at all times I guess if your polite to them then they respond well that is human nature if your rude then I guess you will get ignored. Breakfast - Stayed for a weekend in February 2013 and we enjoyed every minute. Hotel very welcoming, clean, nice and warm. Restaurant is mega quirky and a joy to relax in. Leisure area utilised, sauna excellent combined with dips in the pool (Which was a bit fresh!) The breakfast was - delicious. Plenty of choice to be had both hot and cold. All in all a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will book again without hesitation!

    The surfing facilities (changing room and surfboard room) are the reason why we always stay in the Esplanade. - the location was peaceful with wonderful views yet still close enough to walk into the town

    Hotel was excellent, very comfortable, good staff, nice breakfast. I will use this hotel again when next visiting Falmouth - The owner made us very welcome and will be certain to visit again.

    St Mellion is a superb place to stay. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with in-room tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The health facilities and the golf course looked great too, albeit our stay was primarily to visit friends in the area and so we were not in the resort long enough during any day to take full advantage of even the swimmi... what people say » ng pools or the restaurant. Hopefully, we will be able to return in the future and will then plan to spend more time indoors and enjoy the pool etc. - Only on site for 10 hours (arrived late and left early) - but what I sore was all good. Breakfast options on the day start from approx £5 if you want tea and toast, lots of options up to the £12.50 full English which was very good. Spa looked great, would have loved to have spent more time there. The place was apparently full, I sore about 6 guests during my short stay and heard no one - very quiet. Beautiful surrounds.

    I was with my daughter and granddaughter who is 17months old. Our room was perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb and included in the price. If you are looking for a boutique type hotel this is not for you, but I would stay here over any boutique hotel. The setting was magnificent. Beautiful grounds and woodland... what people say » s. Even the walk back to the hotel from St Ives up the big hill was not enough to put me off going again. - The hotel was absolutely amazing! So friendly and had a lovely warm welcome and ports of smiles and politeness from all staff. Food was delicious and well presented. Our room was AMAZING, we had a beautiful view of the sea and the room was kept nice and clean everyday by the wonderful cleaning staff. We will be staying again with you in the future!     The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Ive always found the staff polite, friendly and helpful. - Nice ... what people say » hotel in a fabulous position ,2 great beaches and the town a strole away. Friendly reception, free parking,had room 119 a twin with sea view to front and side , spacious well decorated with modern bathroom for £71 and a full English thrown in , me im not complaining. CHEERS KILBERNIE FOR A GREAT STAY !
