Enjoyed afternoon tea and relaxed. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was also fantastic an excellent time had by both of us. - Really lovely hotel. We stayed for a friends wedding that was held at the hotel. Would highly recommend. At £60 it is a stonking bargain!

We had a really good stay for the folk festival. The rooms were lovely, the beds super comfortable and the cooked breakfast definitely the spot in the morning. We would recommend the place to anyone wanting to stay a bit further out from the city center. As our destination was cherry Hinton hall it was perfect! -

the red lion is a 16 century grade 2 listed pub and is full of old word character,all the staff are excellent and friendly, i would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Cheriton House is situated in a quiet part of the village of Houghton, near Huntingdon.
Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, even taking us by car to our daughter's house in Hartford on one occasion. You can get around by an efficient bus service.
Breakfasts were excellent with bread made from nearby Houghton Mill and home made jam and marmalade
