    The owner, Chris, was extremely nice, friendly and helpful with whatever I needed, e.g. fixing immediately a window a bit hard to close, doing whatever he could to prepare an espresso (he did not have any in the house that morning so he went to get some from his own house). Room very clean, fantastic power shower, lovely breakfast. - We had a nic... what people say » e stay in the hotel. The food is very good and the host is very nice. It only takes few minutes to the river and the center of the town. We hope to exprience the other rooms next time. My six years old daughter likes the hotel best during the 12 days' travel in UK.

    Nice little place to stay, if you don't mind the absence of an elevator, and fairly small low-ceilinged rooms. It is of course an old mill, but the rooms have been refurbished as good as it gets. Excellent meals if you go for the menu. They have "snacks" too but a better description for the latter would be "junk food leading to morbid obesity" - w... what people say » hich seems to be what many Britons prefer these days. The staff make you feel at home and are very helpful. - I grew up in Melbourn and missed this little jewel! The setting is idyllic. The view over the mill pond is gorgeous by day, but by night is stunning! The trees are lit with coloured lights and the reflection in the still mill pond is incredible - I've never seen anything like it! The staff are all really friendly, chatty and helpful. The food is delicious! The bed was very comfortable!
