  This hotel was very comfortable (room was a little bit dated though) and we liked being able to use the swimming pool and sauna. The location is great, as it feels like your in the countryside but your only 15 minutes drive from the centre of Cambridge. I marked the last circle in each category assuming it meant very good or excellent. We were very happy with the generously sized family room, access to the food court and staff.   We had a power cut in our room (227) at 1.20 in the morning but the night staff were on the case and gave us lights again within 5 minutes, also I forgot to bring the toothbrushes and paste these, along with the firm pillows I asked for, were in the room by the time returned after our night out - Convenience to city centre and excellent breakfast

  Nice little place to stay, if you don't mind the absence of an elevator, and fairly small low-ceilinged rooms. It is of course an old mill, but the rooms have been refurbished as good as it gets. Excellent meals if you go for the menu. The staff make you feel at home and are very helpful. - I grew up in Melbourn and missed this little jewel! The setting is idyllic. The view over the mill pond is gorgeous by day, but by night is stunning! The trees are lit with coloured lights and the reflection in the still mill pond is incredible - I've never seen anything like it! The staff are all really friendly, chatty and helpful. The food is delicious! The bed was very comfortable!

Supper menu varied - good value -with something to suit most tastes. Breakfast included in - We really enjoyed our stay we had our elderly jack russell dog with us and EVERYBODY was very welcoming. Our dog was very welcome and we were not bombarded with rules and regulations by the hotel. Our dog was made a huge fuss of by the staff and we would thoroughly recommend this hotel and we most DEFINATELY will visit again next time we come up to see the in laws. Thank you.
