  The Hotel itself was beautiful and had a very nice cosmopolitan feel to it. The room was extremely comfortable and I enjoyed being able to pop outside into the courtyard. The people couldn't possibly have been nicer and made me feel welcome the second I walked in the door. These personal touches make all the difference, particularly in London (... what people say » where you don't often get that). Location second to none. - The rooms were both lovely but the best thng about the hotel was the staff they were friendly and so helpful they really made our stay comfortable nothing was too much trouble. We left a couple of personal items behind and Sergei located them though house keeping and mailed them on to us. We had cockatails in the bar after dinner out and they were superb and the atmosphere was great.

  I did not need to ask for anything - everything was just right - the staff especially the concierge were very helpful with directions to various places in london. it was very resonably priced and close to leicester square for our theatre visit

  From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the warm friendliness of the reception staff then taken in to the lounge area for a drink and some afternoon tea. We were shown to our room which was perfect in every way spacious comfortable clean it ticked all the boxes. Everything was perfect, very comfortable rooms, clean, location was great and very good service. We had to do a late check out and they were very nice and arranged everything we needed. Very good gym facility. Additionally all the soft drinks are complimentary and nespresso machine and tea available in the room, very convenient. Definitely recommend!

  The hotel is super clean, both rooms and shared bathrooms. It has a beautiful green terrace and nice breakfast. Very close to metro station and the center of London. Staff is very kind, they allowed us to leave our staff in the hotel before check-in and after check-out free of charge. The room was clean and tidy, perfect for just 1 nights stay without spending ridiculous amounts of money for somewhere in central London. Easy to get to London Underground, literally a 5 minute walk to Euston/Euston Square. For the price, I can't complain. Pretty much luxury for a hostel! Definitely will be using the place again.

  Very good - hotel spotless. It must be noted that I am in agreement that the hotel rooms are very small. It may help to put in the room dimensions in. If you were a 'larger' than average build you may struggle. The Staff were fantastic, very polite and couldnt do enough for you - even opening up a bottle of my own wine to drink in my room.   I liked that it was always clean everywhere and that the staff were always so nice and helpfull. I also liked that the hotel was open 24/7 so you didn't have to worry about getting back there too late. Another thing that I appreciated were the guards outside when it got late, because it felt more safe. All in all I'm very happy with my stay there and I'd recommend The Generator to anyone going to London - The bar in the hostel is awesome. The general atmosphere of the place is great - definitely the way to go if you want to meet other young people and have a damn good time. Drinks prices in the bar weren't too bad - £2.20 on all drinks (except doubles!) and the kareoke was fun. Staff were very friendly too.

  I liked the location and also the breakfast was excellent.The staff were very pleasant and helpful and would stay there again - I was welcomed at reception, I stayed in a very comfortable, clean room and the restaurant food and service was absolutely fantastic.

  I liked the fact that it was nice and quiet and the staff kept their distance unless needed. It was a lovely place to relax after a hectic day being a tourist. The rooms were spotless and the tea and coffee were well stocked in the rooms at all times. - Excellent Location! Cafetiere in the room. Good maid service daily. Helpful and friendly staff.
