A friend and I spent a very enjoyable week here in September 2009. From the moment we arrived to be met outside by Pat and Lynn, and our cases unloaded from the car for us, we were made to feel welcome and so at home. The hotel is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean everywhere, it has a really fresh feeling. When we arrived at the hotel first impressions were clean, tidy and welcoming. Parking a bit iffy though if the hotel is full but there is no restrictions on the side streets. When we arrived at reception we had booked a family room but the gentleman on the desk had advised us that there was a problem with the family room we had book but he had already sorted the issue before arrival and gave us 2 rooms next to each other and changed our rate for us to reflect this. We were happy with this. Re - Jeffrey

Arrived late after epic drive, only to find car parking a nightmare, ended up in front of the entrance abandoned! Staff very friendly, food in restaurant not as warm as I'd have liked, but we were very late and the kitchen was about to close. It tasted okay though, can't complain. The room itself was great, clean, tidy, fresh looking, can't fault it. Shower superb! The only drawback I could see regards the room, was that the walls were paper thin, and a lack of courtesy from other guests being n - Simon

A group of friends and i stayed here for a weekend and had a great time. The landlord is now running the place alone, so maybe the previous reviews were to do with previous landlady? He was fab and couldnt do enough to help. As an animal lover i was happy to see the landlords dog and other customers dogs staying!! It does clearly state on the ad that they accept dogs, so this is always going to be a possibility (although i did have to ask one customer to tell their dog not to bark ever time i w - Christopher
