Just returned from a weekend break to blackpool,Booked hotel online,was not too sure how it would be,but we need not have worried. The hotel was excellent, couldn't find fault with anything,the place is immaculate and the breakfast are out of this world everything from fresh fruit, yoghurts & juices then all the cereals you could ask for theres even a choice of cooked breakfast from full english,smoked salmon,omlettes...just amazing Proprioters are very welcoming and friendly,nothing is t - John

A group of friends and i stayed here for a weekend and had a great time. The landlord is now running the place alone, so maybe the previous reviews were to do with previous landlady? He was fab and couldnt do enough to help. As an animal lover i was happy to see the landlords dog and other customers dogs staying!! It does clearly state on the ad that they accept dogs, so this is always going to be a possibility (although i did have to ask one customer to tell their dog not to bark ever time i w - Christopher

The Berwyn is a great place to stay for a short break or longer holiday. The rooms are clean and well decorated. We always receive a warm welcome from Derek and Barbara, their staff seem to be the same and i think that's a good sign of a happy work place. Located in Gynn square it's near enough to walk into the centre, or use the bus which is very near. The food is very good, I would recomend a visit to this hotel, we have just booked to return for the fifth year, hopefully Derek and Barbara wil - Laurence

I have stayed at this small and friendly hotel on a number of occasions, bith for business and pleasure. it is exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the food is excellent. having had the misfortune to stay at several other hotels and guest houses in the Blackpool area, I can safely say that this hotel surpassed all my expectations. - Graham

We have just returrned from a two day break at the Inglewood. Holmfeild rd, north shore. What an absolute treat to be treated as a person, not a customer. On arrival Jack the owners partner greeted us and told us about the basic rules of the hotel. Things happening in Blackpool. Where to catch buses, trams etc.. even the history of the house, he then showed us around so we could get our bearings where everything was in the hotel and even where we sat for breakfast, he was genuinely welcoming a - Keith

I've stayed in numerous other hotels in blackpool including the bigger, large chain hotel directly across the street from this one, and found this place to be the best I've stayed in by far. First of all I will mention this was one of only two hotels in Blackpool I contacted that allowed us to take our labrador puppy with us. I have been to Blackpool quite a few times.....but the other places i've stayed in don't even come close to the Wilton Hotel. Infact i don't think i have ever stayed anywhere so friendly and comfortable. The room was lovely and cosy.....there was plenty of room, and the hotel was very clean and welcoming, Lovely lounge and dining room. After seeing the reviews on this site I decided to choose the Lynmar for my stay in Blackpool mid week. The hosts were warm and welcoming. The rooms are not large, but after all it is not a large hotel on the seafront, it's a small 4 bedromed place, and the room was clean, well laid out and suited my needs. I was very suprised how quiet the area was (especially since it is only a 5 minute walk from the pubs and clubs) and had a wonderful sleep. Breakfast was great, and filled my very - Jemma

A very clean hotel with good rooms, especially room 1 which is a lovely large room with bay windows and a great view of Gynn Square and of the sea. A good breakfast is included in the price and the owners, Gordon and Victoria, are very friendly and welcoming, are very attentive and provide excellent service. The hotel is situated in a nice area away from the crowds, with good parking facilities. All in all, for the price it is excellent value and we will definitely stay there again. - Alan

Had my 40th birthday weekend in blackpool ,and stayed at the waterford .Has an excellent location on north shore ,just off the seafront . We had a sea view room ,just that little bit out of the hustle of blackpool,but close enough to get to all the nighlife , What a place to stay . Excellent all the way . from checking in to leaving . the rooms were immaculate,and very tastefully furnished ..All the little extras like lovely white bath robes ,and slippers .,emergency kit .,clothes brush .even a - Debby
