We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. The location was great - Southwark tube is 2 minutes away, St Paul's cathedral is a 15 minute walk and although the location is pretty central, we did not find the area too busy at all.

stones throw from the palace - truly in the heart of london. the rooms, the staff, the dining - everything was absolutely perfect. they have a sister hotel that is literally down the street, it is more expensive and a perhaps a little more grand - but everything is 'modernized' with a blackandwhite motif ... and that hotel uses the restaurants at
... what people say » the rubens for their special packages. - From the moment we arrived at the Hotel to the minute that we left, we were treated like the most important people in the establishment. All the staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay at the Rubens again, our room was recently refurbished and was in excellent condition. The room service was impressive and the food the best I've ever tasted in a hotel.
