  We have to echo everything that 'Adrian from Shanghai' has said about this excellent hotel. From the moment we entered the foyer to book in at the desk we were greeted by friendly helpful staff. Our room was spotless and surprisingly quiet for central London, and the air conditioning on such a hot day was very welcome. And anything we requested... what people say » such as extra milk/tea bags were supplied straight away and with a smile. We had an excellent evening meal and an equally good breakfast with one of - The location was first class. The rooms clean, the beds comfortable, and the linen of acceptable quality. The staff were friendly and chatty without being 'familiar' and we enjoyed our conversations with the various nationalities. [We are New Zealanders] The breakfasts were very good. The evening meals were well-priced and more than adequate [especially the marinated ribs and the big chocolate sundae!   This is the second time we have stayed at The Sanctuary House and was again fantastic, if not better. We stayed in an executive room so got a four post king size bed that you can get lost in and would recommend paying the little extra for the executive rooms.   The location was ideal,it was in the center of everything!you could go anywhere you liked either by using the subway or even on foot,every central location a tourist wants to visit is really close.
