  Overall quality of the place was really high including most comfortable bed I have ever slept, so clean and big room).. John was at there when we need and he is very helpful, friendly and kind. After staying one day you feel like you are at home more than a hotel. Location is 15-20 mins to the center and 5 mins by bus which is really good. We walk... what people say » ed all the time and it was no problem at all. There are nice restaurants to have your dinner 5 mins from the place. Great value for the money. I will - Room was very nicely and comfortably furnished, inpeccably clean that it made me feel at home immediately. There were nearby bus stops but I had preferred to walk (about 15 minutes to Waverley Station). A large supermarket (Tesco) is 5 minutes away and so are a number of restaurants. I went on a day tour that set off early in the morning and John (the owner) gladly served breakfast earlier than usual for me, so that was great hospitality.   Located a short walking distance (10 - 15 minutes) from the heart of Edinburgh, Craigmoss Guest House is very convenient for sightseeing, eateries, pubs and shopping. The owners, Harry and Isabelle are very welcoming, friendly and willing to share their local knowledge. The home cooked breakfast started the day well. On our arrival, seeing my husband had a disability our room was immediately changed to a first floor room from a second floor room, without even asking. Molly and Roxy the family dogs were adorable and very friendly. We have no problem recommending and staying here again, fantastic.
