  Very good - hotel spotless. It must be noted that I am in agreement that the hotel rooms are very small. It may help to put in the room dimensions in. If you were a 'larger' than average build you may struggle. The Staff were fantastic, very polite and couldnt do enough for you - even opening up a bottle of my own wine to drink in my room.   Location was great. Rick in reception was very helpful, cheerful & friendly. Kitchen staff were very obliging at breakfast which was very nice. The rooms were basic & 'tired' but clean.   We stayed at the hotel for my husband's 50th birthday. He is keen on trains so I requested, and got, a room overlooking the station. He was in his element. We arrived at 1pm and went in to drop our bags off but the staff were able to check us into our room which was a bonus. This is a beautiful hotel in a great location.   This was our second reservation and all was very good. The room was on the street level and most helpful. The breakfast was great. - Basic room with en-suite, but comfortable. Polite and friendly staff. Although only 1 night stay, I would return again. 3 min walk to Paddington station.

  Location is outstanding, on a very quiet street of all small hotels with a park the length of the street. Very close to Paddington. Good pubs and restaurants steps away from hotel. Furniture barely fits in room so we did a little rearranging to make it work for us. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. Window in room opens wide and we were thankful for that during London's heat spell. - The receptionist made us feel at home once we checked in. Very helpful and cheerful, even managed to get us the discounted ticket and beat the queue at London Zoo! And the location was perfect! Short walking distance from Paddington station, in the middle of bus lane, surrounded by lush garden and near to good restaurants. Oxford street is 20 mins away max by bus.
