My room on the 7th floor was wonderful - beautifully and thoughtfully furnishe - Every hotel has it's own personality but share a common set of standards and values... all very high. I like the wine list... Manchester had a special wine list which I would have liked to see in Newcastle. Young but not 'trendy'. The staff seem happy to be there!

  Bar and reception is lovely and open! Rooms have ample room and clean bathrooms air con/ heating tea and coffee. Extra pillows already in the room beds were really comfy! We were there bank holiday weekend so it was a busy hotel which gave it more atmosphere for a young group of friends was good fun! Parking; you are able to park on the main road outside the hotel after 6:30pm there are 2 car parks for parking prior to this but we che - We booked our room on 26 March for 2 nights 10 / 11 April through letsbookhotel.com. Despite a misunderstanding between letsbookhotel.com and the hotel which we only discovered on the morning of 10 April, our booking was honored and confirmed prior to arrival. Our B&B package was great value for money and we had a lovely view over the Tyne into the bargain! We would gladly recommend this hotel & package to friends & family. Great service, good food & immaculate accommodation.

  After reading some other reviews we were a little worried about our stay. We have to say that our stay was excellent, our room was spotless and comfortable, the tv signal was the best I have ever had in a hotel great for listening to the radio in the morning and relazing after a busy day. The staff were excellent for the most part they all smiled, the bar - I liked the fact that it was a new hotel and reasonably priced. As we travelled as a family it was good that we were put on the top floor away from noisier guests. We did have to ask for bedding for my son to sleep on the sofabed as this wasn't supplied, but this was resolved very quickly - staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. When bedding was delivered the guy asked if he could help putting it on the bed, which was very kind (sorry don't know his name). I have already recommended

  This is our second trip staying at the Staybridge suites.The staff and the service they provide is truly excellent. They just cannot do enough in making sure your stay is enjoyable. Nothing is too much trouble for any staff member from receptionists to the cleaning staff to the staff providing breakfast. All are lovely people! Suites are very comf... what people say » ortable and I could easily live there! Breakfast is excellent and has plenty of full english and continental breakfast options. Great stay once again, - Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect and I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was friendly and helpful. The suite comes fully equipped and was extremely up to date. I can't imagine wanting for anything. We were even able to do our laundry for free. We had a view of all the beautiful bridges from our sixth floor suite. Also, great location, the quay is just two blocks away and very romantic to walk and dine there.

Very friendly and helpful reception desk in particularly the girl at the reception (unfortunately I can't remember her name) who was very helpful when we needed help on a couple of occasions. Excellent location right next to Tyne bridge. Everything you need shopping, dining, entertainment within walking distance! We enjoyed our stay there.

  Everything!! The rooms are furnished to a very high standard and the bar and lounge are very comfortable. All the staff are professional, attentive and friendly. We experienced some difficulties with our booking but the managers could not have done more to rectify the situation.
