Very welcoming stay, breakfast was very nice and plentyful.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The 24/7 reception and the locking of the doors at night made the place very safe in this particular part of Camden town.
Being a student lodge for the most part I was pleasantly surprised how quiet the building was at night and how clean it remained at all times.

I loved my small studio and the kitchen especially.
The room was very clean and the cleaning staff was great.
The managers are all young and very friendly, helped a lot when I had to prolong my stay.
The design is calm and I like that every room had a stacked book shelf with all kinds to choose from.
Location is perfect; right between 2 main northen line stations and the area is extremely colorful and vibrant.

We were very happy with our three night stay at Lancaster Gate Hotel and highly recommend it. The location is superb on a quiet street only a block from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Hotel under renovations and road closed but it was never less good. An explanation of air conditioning would have been helpful. We saw 28 heat and thought it was ON so we were cold for a day. First time in 40 years of ANY hotel we we charged to store our luggage for a few hours--and also charged £10 an hours overstay when we requested late stay provided hotel not full. Our plane took off 6pm. Not a way to keep customers. On principle I would prefer to pay £25 more at the Radisson 4 stars nearby

The proximity to Victoria Train & Coach station. 5min walk for both. Hop on Hop off bus at the Train station. Plenty of pubs and restaurants to eat. We had the Studio room at the very top of the building. Small but comfy. Breakfast items are restocked each day. eg,. Cereal, pastrys, fruit, juice, cheese, bread, milk, coffee, selection of teas, biscuits. Free wifi. There is a computer if you need to print something off. It is in the main office. Toiletries supplied and replenished daily.Staf
