We had a fantastic week in St. Cristopher Village. The hostel is in a very central position and it's very simple to move, furthermore the area is not completely dead at night, as it seems for the most of the City, and if your on holiday that matters. We found out that the hostel was surprisingly clean, even though it's completely administered by... what people say » people with less than 30-35 years. We read about dirty everywhere, noise allnight long and rooms with not enough space to move, but we found none of - Helpful and friendly staff, clean room, very simple but good breakfast, great atmosphere. 15 minutes on foot from Big Ben, Tower Bridge and The Tower (however, we walk quite fast so it can take app. 20-25 min.). Free internet access (well-working). £35 for one person for two nights in the last weekend of April in London is in my opinion really good price.
